Dry Land Training and Education
Starting Mid-October. Dry-land training includes Jib Trainer Practice, strength, and conditioning, team-building activities, and educational activities like videography, avalanche awareness, and other life-long skills.
On the Snow Training
Our home hill is Buck Hill and we will be training three days a week with a mix of training days and team days. We will be training outside of Buck Hill for MLK and Presidents Day. We will also have optional training opportunities at Copper Mountain in Colorado.
Competition Coaching
Riders will have a coach at all USASA events as well as USASA Nationals. We encourage everyone to plan on going to Nationals. The best lodging prices are available early and nothing is worse than planning a last-minute trip to a tourist destination. If a rider does not qualify to compete there is no better place to train for next season than Copper Mountain. Non-competing riders will be included in all team coaching activities at Nationals.
"Sponsor Me" Package
Throughout the season we will be collecting content and putting together a "Sponsor Me" package for all team riders. This will not only be a great memento of all the fun had throughout the season but also great content to share with potential sponsors.
What is not Included
Lift Tickets or Season Passes
We will work on group rates whenever possible. National Championships generally offers discounted tickets for competing athletes and friends and family discounts.
USASA Membership and Fees
Riders will be responsible for having current USASA membership and registering/paying for competitions including National Championships. We will do our best to communicate the process for all of this well ahead of the events.
Transportation
Transportation is not included. We will assist in communications for team carpooling as needed.
Lodging
We will try to get hotel room blocks and discounts when possible but lodging costs are not included.
